International SplashTrash ArtExpo Terms and Conditions

 

This ArtExpo is void where prohibited by law.

 

Participation in the SplashTrash ArtExpo constitutes the participant’s

full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry Qualifications

 

The ArtExpos are open to citizens of all countries, ages and levels of experience – from novice to professional.

Teachers may enter students' art work if their names and contact information are not provided, for example - "5th grade students, Gilbert Grade School". 

 

All entries must be art created out of at least 75% splashtrash (plastic collected from in and along oceans, rivers and other waterways).

 

Each participant is allowed three entries per year.

An art piece should only be entered once. 

 

All information on the entry form must be true, current and complete.

 

All entries must original art work that does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy or any other rights of a third party.

 

All entries are subject to moderation. SplashTrash Intl. can reject and remove any entry at any time Specifically, SplashTrash Intl. will not accept or will remove entries that: (a) are not artwork; (b) are not made of at least 75% splashtrash; (c) include defamatory or malicious content; (d) are not original art; (e) include content to which someone else owns the copyright or other intellectual property rights; or (f) breach of any other of these Terms and Conditions. 

 

Use of Entries: The main goal of the ArtExpos is to share and promote splashtrash art and artists, especially in ways that will increase dialogue and action around plastic in our oceans and what we can do to make a difference. Except where prohibited by law, entry in the ArtExpo constitutes consent for SplashTrash Intl. to use the submitted entry for promotional and educational purposes in any and all media, always with acknowledgement and credit to the artist.  If you have questions about this, please contact Bette Booth, SplashTrash Director, at info@splashtrash.org

 

Release of Liability: By entering this ArtExpo, all entrants, and their family members, guests, invitees, agents and employees release and hold harmless SplashTrash Intl. and all others associated with the development and execution of this ArtExpo from any and all actions, claims, and/or liability with respect to or in any way arising from participation in this ArtExpo.

 

SplashTrash Intl. makes no warranties or representations as to the accuracy, correctness, reliability or otherwise with respect to information made available by participants in the the ArtExpos, and assumes no liability or responsibility for any omissions or errors (including without limitation typographical errors and technical errors).

 

Information about the ArtExpos is subject to change without notice. SplashTrash Intl. reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the ArtExpo at any time

 

All entrants and third parties agree that all decisions of SplashTrash Intl. will be binding, final, and non-appealable. All SplashTrash Intl. decisions related to the ArtExpos will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
